This Great Galaxy mat was the ORIGINAL ECLIPSE mat designed in 2015. I personally prefer the subtle hex grid, there when you need it, but you can ignore it when you are playing a different game, or once all the tiles are placed. The Nebula Nexus is our newest design based on the colors taken from the tiles of the game. I will post pictures of how this looks once I have a sample printed.
